Not sure what to say?

Colonel Robert J. Kachmar may you soar with the eagles in Heaven. Keep an eye on us all. RIP brother.

Knowing your Dad from the 402nd and far better at FHCC, I thoroughly enjoyed his company and will miss him. Everytime he would have you boys at Fox Hill he always made me tell how I fired my attorney because he court martialed me! I will have a drink at the club and remember with fondness the times I spent with your Dad. Mike Hinchey

Many of US at SSA were mentored in various ways by Bob Kachmar, or "Kach" as we called him. Always the consummate professional. Led by his example! Always good on his feet, presenting to any crowd. Could be funny, serious, always appropriate. Many of US learned a lot from him. Glad for having had the opportunity to seeing him occasionally the last few years. Glad to see other SSA'er remembering him so well. Jack Finnegan [email protected]

Kevin, we just learned of Bob´s death. We are shocked and saddened as we talked with him in December and had a wonderful Christmas card from him. We hope to attend the mass memorial on 4/22.

Kevin, Karen and Families We are so sorry to learn of Bob´s passing. He was a wonderful cousin and a real gentleman. We shall never forget how good he was to our mom and dad, Anna and Frank Wallace. We will always cherish getting together with your dad for breakfast on numerous trips to the Valley from North Carolina. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kachmar family at this time of your loss. Dorothy and Richard Price, Wilmington, NC
