I remember Professor Kadlec well from the ChemE thermodynamics course he taught when I was a junior at Michigan in 1978 (!). I remember him as a great teacher.

I´m sorry to learn of Professor Kadlec´s passing. I had him as a professor for two courses at the University of Michigan in Chemical Engineering. He was a fine teacher and human being. He will be sorely missed. I cherish my memories in the two classes that I had with him. Rest in peace Bob! We miss you!

It was a privilege to work with Bob! As we embarked on the "unknown frontier" of using and understanding large-scale wetlands for Everglades restoration, Bob provided invaluable guidance and analysis modeling tools. He was an inspiration to me! I learned so very much from him! He challenged my thinking and was always open for lively intellectual conversations! Thank you Bob for the amazing impact you made (and continue to make) on protecting and improving our world.

For me personally, I can see how my relationship with him transitioned over the years...
