Robert J. Kahlig, age 21, of Coldwater, died Wednesday June 12, 2024 following an automobile accident in Auglaize County.  He was born July 5, 2002 in Clarksville Arkansas.  


He is survived by his parents Dale & Carla (Meyer) Kahlig of Coldwater and siblings Anna Kahlig & Alex Sharp of New Bremen, Michael Kahlig of Colorado Springs, CO and Matthew Kahlig of Coldwater and half-brother, Travis Burton of Colorado Springs, CO. He is preceded in death by a brother Zachary.


Robert was a 2021 graduate of Coldwater High School and currently attended UNOH studying to be an auto mechanic. He loved fixing things and working on cars, playing his guitar and he had a big heart for animals, especially his dogs.


A funeral service will be held 12 noon on Monday, June 17, 2024, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Burial will take place in the St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater. Friends may call on Monday, from 9 until time of services at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed in person or left at hogenkampfh.com.
