Not sure what to say?

We were very proud and privileged to meet and spend time with Bob. A wonderful and warm man who will be sorely missed.

Our heartfelt condolences, Bob to you and all your family. We would have enjoyed playing a few Slovenian polkas with your Dad on his button box and you on fiddle. It is nice to read about his life here. God Bless and see you again soon, -- Tom and Mary Kay, Carson City, NV

WE WENT FROM FIRST GRADE THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION WITH BOB. WE HAVE KEPT IN TOUCH OVER THE YEARS. HE WAS ALWAYS A RESPECTED, DEPENDABLE, KIND SOUL. IT IS SAD TO SAY GOODBYE TO A LIFELONG FRIEND. RAY AND ELSIE KOZLER DAY

I grew up with Bob on Stanley Ave. in Maple Hts. SUPER guy - wonderful parents and sibs - sympathy to his kids and love to his sibs, Bernie, Joe and Lou. Fondly, Ruthie Fleckenstein Garofalo

I only met Mr. Kastelic a few times over the last decade, but was struck by his intelligence, memory of details, and gentle soul. My favorite memory of him was visiting the Kastelic family while they vacationed at a S.C. beach house: he was playing his button-box accordion on the porch under the night sky while the rest of us danced to his Slovenian songs, which I pretended were Polkas.

He truly was a one-of-a-kind guy, although many of his virtues live on in his children. My thoughts...

The expression often heard, "They don't make people like that anymore" fits Bob's life so well. He had an unforgettable and admirable attitude about life as a father, lifelong friend, a teacher, that impacted all of us. The Herb Legan Family

Mr. Kastelic was the teacher who made you want to learn.
