Not sure what to say?

I was so sad to hear the news when my mom told me last week of Bob's passing. We were the best of friends during Grammar school at St Pete's and during our high school years as well. He was another addition to our already "big" family and will remember a lot of laughs and good times. He was a good friend. My condolences to his family and friends.

What do you say when your best friend dies - there's a new angel in heaven and his name is Keegan. I can't even remember a time when he was not in my life. We met at St. Peter's kindergarten when we were 5 years old and will be forever friends. He was with me through every good and bad time in my life and will always be in my heart. If he could have seen me through my eyes he would have seen someone for whom I am forever grateful to have known and loved and be loved by. This earth will...

I met Keegan in the Fall of 1968 when we were both entering freshmen at Merrimack College. He and my then boyfriend, now husband, Tommy had both graduated from Keith Academy together. Over the couse of the next four years Keegan, Martha, Janice, Debby, Tommy and I spent virtually all of our free time together. Sometimes we were joined in our adventures by Keegan's childhood friends Bunny and Esther, and later by Debby's boyfriend Tony.

Tall and handsome, Keegan loved to dance...

Mr. Keegan was my principle and I looked up to him very much. I kept up with him throughout the years as he was my neice's and nephew's principle and I would always see him in Demoulas. He was a wise and wonderful man and I will never forget him. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

I am sorry to hear of Mr. Keegan's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him at the Moody School. He was a great leader. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

My name is Helen Lorden, originally from Pepperell, MA and I met Bob through mutual friends Bob and Joan Frey. I was fortunate enough to perform with him in shows in Maynard, MA at what was formerly known as Alphonse's Restaurant, at the Bull Run in Shirley, MA and found Bob to be very funny, sincere and helpful to me.
I was very sorry to hear about his deteriorating health and subsequent death. Please accept my condolences and prayers for him and his family.

Although it is a terribly sad day for all of us on earth, the angels have a new source of laughter in heaven. Bob Keegan, together with our dear Roberta, are sure to be cracking jokes at heaven's door. I will never forget the happy times we shared at the Shaughnessy School in the early to mid 70's. Bob was smart, kind, witty and fun to be around. The children loved him as did all of us who had the pleasure of working with him. He will be missed by all of us.

My condolences to Bob's family and friends as well to the Moody School "family" he left behind. He understood that good staff morale is the foundation for a strong work ethic. He was much-loved and will be sorely missed.

To the family,

Bob Keegan was one of the best friends anyone could ask for. His sense of humor was infectious. It was a joy to be with him and could find humor in almost any situation.

"Keeg" which was my indearing nickname for him offered his help to many.

I will never forget when the several times we (my husband Bob, Keeg. , Bunny and Martha) went to Cancun. These memories will never be lost.
