Not sure what to say?

It saddened me to learn of Roberts passing. Although I had not been in touch for a long, long time,I remember how we delighted in sharing and learning about our common ancestry. I must add how much he resembles the photo of his ancestor Michael Roche. My ancestor was Mehitable a sister of Michael.

My late husband suffered for several years with a similar disease. Like you, we miss him beyond words, but I know that both he and Robert are in a better place.

My thoughts and...

Dear Family Members,

It is my sincere hope that Dr Kelsch and Dr Donita Sullivan are having a stimulating conversation in Heaven and that Sister Florence Viaches is right there in the middle of things. All three of them have certainly earned their eternal reward.

"Eternal rest, grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen."

With deepest sympathy,

Dr. Kelsch was the best mentor I have had at the UM. As a young new administrator, I was so lucky to be hired to be the administrator of Pediatric Ambulatory Care. As the medical director, Dr. Kelsch was the best faculty administrator that I have ever worked with. I have thought of him fondly over the past 25 years and often meant to send him a note to tell him what an impact he had on my life. He will stay in my heart and thoughts forever. Candace Terhune

So very sorry to hear this sad news. Louis and I wish you and your family the strength you need to get through this.

As a medical student and then pediatric resident, Dr. Kelsch was a mentor and teacher to me. I appreciated his humor, thoughtfulness and consideration. (I think I heard it from him - C. for creatine, and P. for pituitary- to distinguish the two Bob Kelschs on the pediatric faculty) I am grateful for these qualities and thank his family for sharing him with so many patients and fledgling medical students and doctors. Prayers for the Kelsch family.

Theresa, I am so sorry. You built a wonderful life together. I hope you and your children will find comfort in the memories you share. Much love, Lucille
