Not sure what to say?

RIP Mr Kelso. I will never forget all the fun my buddies and I had having you as our gym teacher at Amity Jr. High in Bethany. I think of you and those days all the time. Just sorry I found out of your passing and missed your service. Keep up the skiing. Your former student, Mark Rowland.

Had the privilege and honor to know and work side by side with Brother Bob Kelsey. He was a passionate smart hardworking IRONWORKER. His love of teaching and mentoring the younger IWS was a admirable trait. Always stayed in great shape which translated into being able to work when most IWS bodies broke down . Ironworker Athlete ! RIP Brother Kelso . Sympathies to the family and thanks for sharing this great man with Local 424 !

Bob was my 9th grade gym teacher at Bethany Junior High, the first year BJH opened in 1964. Many years later, when Bob had become a contractor, we would talk mornings at the Blue Check Deli. A very nice man, I'm sure that he will be missed.

I am sorry to hear of Mr. Kelso's passing. I went to school with one of his daughters, Hedidi Kelso.

I was lucky to have first hand experience´s with Bob. As an IRONWORKER. He & Inez came to a party I threw awhile back. Bob was George Carlin, before there was a George Carlin. I was going to invite him to my next `to do´ this June. As usual, "I´m a day late, & a dollar short. I will really miss him. A great Guy!

I graduated with Bob in 1958 and was the class president at New Haven State teachers College. I was a dear friend of Bob and want to send my personal condolences and also from The members of our class that are still living. Smiles appear whenever his name was mentioned, he was loved by all his classmates.

Please note that funeral services will be held Sunday, 5/1 at 2pm at B´Nai Jacob Memorial Park,Wintergreen Ave, New Haven, CT 06515. All are welcome to join us in remembering and honoring my father.

Special condolences to Heidi and Betsy....your Dad and I enjoyed skiing and teaching together as well as socializing with our beloveds Inez and Joyce..
