To the Kennedy family
I was the Whitman Middle School's police officer in the late 90's. Bob embraced the school/police partnership from the beginning and became a friend. We would talk about our Irish ancestry and the fact that Irish men arriving in America would eventually become "coppers." I respected him and was saddened to read of his passing. My prayers are with your family at this time. I enjoyed knowing him.

Sorry for your loss Mrs Kennedy. Upon reading your husband's obituary, I could not believe that his parents names were Virginia and Harold. Those were the names of my parents living in Milton their entire married life. God bless, Jeanne Kennedy, Milton

I have such fond memories of middle school and many include Mr. Kennedy and his playing The Shadow Knows during class. He made a difference in my life and I'm sure many others...
My condolences to his family and friends..

Bob was one of my very closest friends at B.C.High, and one of the best running backs in Eastern Mass. We shared some fantastic times on the football field--in the classroom--and at many-many parties. He was a first class man, and while we haven't seen each other for a long time,he was often in my mind. I'm sure he has left many warm memories as his legacy.

Sarah and family,
So sorry to learn of Bob's death RIP.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.
Deepest sympathy from Joan, Kevin and Rory

I have wonderful memories of your father and husband - he had a great sense of humor and caring that he passed on to all of you. My heart is with you as you mourn your great loss and celebrate his life.

With love, Eileen

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Mr. Kennedy was my teacher in middle school and he was the most caring and compassionate man to have in my life when life wasnt so good. He made me smile everyday when I didn't want to and the SHADOW will forever be in my heart. thank you Mr. Kennedy. Rest in Peace

The picture of Bob demands that we celebrate his life.

Cheers Bob,
