Not sure what to say?

Remembering a special friend and one who will always be in our memories.

From 1975 to 1977 Bob's would be the first face I'd see each working day upon entering the News Room of the old Atlantic Street office of The Advocate since the Sports Desk was located right there. I couldn't figure out how this guy always beat me to work and why he seemed to always be there. His community/professional devotion is how and why. May you rest in peace. Adding my sincerest condolences to your family.

Dear Bartan and Family
Bob and I met at Stamford High and remained good friends for 60 years. My wife, Ann and Bartan were close friends. Our children were friends with their children. Bob was a great father and all around good guy. He was also a great Super Bowl prognosticator He was a good athlete and an excellent journalist but he rarely talked about those things. His true sports passion was the kids he had coached. Stamford has had a long line of great coaches whose names are...

Rest In Peace Bob, you made your family, SHS Class of 1960 and the City of Stamford proud.

To his family I extend my sympathy on Bob’s passing.

Rest in Peace Bob. I worked with Bob in the Advocate years ago.

Warm Embrace Arrangement

Dear Bartan & Family,
As a high school classmate and baseball teammate, I remember Bobby as a passionate and dedicated athlete and one of the most likeable guys I have known. His distinguished journalism career and staunch support of local youth programs is a level of community commitment that few others have attained. The Stamford sports world has lost a true champion!

Barton and clan, Very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We sure have some good times to look back on.
