Not sure what to say?

I worked with Bob at the VA for many years coordinating veteran's care. It was my honor to work with Bob as he mentored me as a nurse learning the process of care coordination. Bob had a calm demeanor and a great sense of humor. I always told Bob he should have been a private detective as she could find almost anything on a veteran who needed help. He would find their family and and get them the support needed to coordinate their ongoing care. I still use his phrases I like to call the...

Very sad when the young men you mentored in the AOH told me of Bob's passing in the Elks after the Meridan parade. I will miss our brief, yearly meetings in the AOH and Elks after the parade; two proud sons of Leitrim enjoying a wee drop. Rest in Peace and Up the West!

With sincere sympathy to Bob's Family: I will remember Bob fondly along with so many others who were lucky enough to know him. He and my Mom (Grace) shared a deep pride in their Irish heritage as well as their Catholic convictions. Bob was a true gentleman and a scholar with a most generous soul. May he rest in peace.

Bob we’ll all miss you, especially the old Friday Crowd at the AOH . My condolences to your family.
Say hello to Joan for myself and Mae-Agnes. Here’s to a great American and a true Irish man at heart!!!

I will miss your smile, your stories about Family and travels, love for celebrations, and get togethers. Rest in Peace Uncle Bob, and give my Dad a hug, please.

So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. He and I spent many years together helping Veterans. He in West Haven and I in Ricky Hill. He was always an ardent advocate for his clients. Always a professional he was also always joyous and positive! I often cheered him on from the watchers of the Meridrn St Oayrick’s Day Parade. May he rest in peace and sing with the Angels.

Bob was a true and honest gentleman that I had the privilege of meeting. Many a chats we had at the AOH talking about Ireland and Co Cork where I am from. He never forgot my birthday every year. God bless him. My condolences to his family.

An amazing Hibernian whose kindness and compassion will be long remembered. Rest in peace my friend. Ed Grady

My sincere condolences to the family. Bob was the sweetest and kindest man and was one of my first friends when I became a member of the AOH. He was a wealth of knowledge when it came to Irish history and I always enjoyed his wonderful stories over a couple of pints at the AOH. He will be truly missed by so many of his friends.....may the road rise up to meet you...
