Colonel Kerr and I were close friends and served on many artillery missions together in the 75th Maneuver Area Command. Many times we were issued a jeep that wasn't in good condition, Bob always was able to
fix it when needed. He was very knowledgeable in Artillery matters.
I admired his abilities and enjoyed being with him.
