Robert Keyes

Bob, was my father in law during the time his daughter Carolyn and I were married. I remember a gregarious, understanding and most generous man who opened his home to us while we saved for our first home in Northfield, IL. The many dinners at his private dining club with his friend Shirley were special as were the many holiday parties; He was a friend and I loved him.

Carolyn, Sandy, and Craig:

Jerry and I send our prayers and sympathy to you on the loss of your dad. I enjoyed your generous parents so much. Now we can rejoice that they are together once again.

I have many good memories of Bob while working with him at ASC Tabulating in Lake Buff- many many years ago.

I only meet Mr. Keyes once. At my sister and Craig's wedding in San Diego. We were in the limo bus with him going to the restaurant. Since I was a avid amateur military hobbist. We talked briefly about his time in USAAF back in WWII. I still remember couple of his stories vividly to this day! I realize it was quiet an honor to meet a member of Tom Brokow "Greatest Generation". I will always remember my one time meeting him and coming away with the lasting memory.
