I just learned of Mr Kiester passing. I went to school with his daughter Peg for 12 years at St Pats and Central Catholic. I told Peg at our 50th high school reunion that I remembered her father well...I was an altar boy at St Pats and did alot of Sunday masses. God bless all the St Pats ushers but Mr Kiester always impressed me as the sharpest dresser! We lost Mrs Freiburger last week and now Mr Kiester..two members of America's greatest generation...there is alot of truth to that...John...
