He had experienced much during his time here on earth, and was much respected for it. Just enjoyed Robert's company at St. Thomas Roasters one morning a few weeks ago when he just 'happened' to be there at the very same time the L.P. Twp. Supervisors were meeting there to tour the Square.
He asked if I collected any trash recently . . . . adding that was one of his favorite pics/stories re: the one he ran of me in uniform being directed to pick up trash on City Island by our favorite Mayor :)
