I first met Doc at Braden River Church. He was a wonderful man. He gave the best hugs. He had a smile for everyone. One of my favorite memories was at one of the Cracker Festivals we had and Doc cooked up a big pot of his Swamp Cabbage. I had never tasted that before, and I fell in love with it. Doc was so kind and caring. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.
