We have such fond memories of our late 1970s with Bob and Marilyn Kirkpatrick in Merced, CA. And, we will forever be grateful to him for making parts of John Muir Elementary School available to collectors and aspiring home builders alike before portions of the school were destroyed. We think of Bob on an almost daily basis as we gaze lovingly at the auditorium doors from the school in our living room, and as the schoolroom transoms provide light as clerestory windows.
