Mr. Knapp taught me how to type at Dexter High School. We had the typewriters with blank keys, so that we would learn to type without relying on looking at the keyboard. I recall that we students were scared at first, thinking we would never master the typing skills! Mr. Knapp reassured us that we would be fine and he was right. My typing skills served me well in my 40 year career at DTE. I will remember Mr. Knapp having a smile on his face, and kind words for everyone. May he rest in peace.
