Not sure what to say?

Dear LaVonne, Beth, Bill, and Ron:

My condolences to you during this difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Bob and his sense of humor - he will definitely be missed by many.

My thoughts are with you.

~ Brenda Maday

Bob was the good big brother that most little sisters wished they had. I could always hang out with him and he'd make sure that I didn't have to be "official catcher" when we'd play neighborhood baseball.
At his wake and funeral it was apparent, that somehow, he was that great big brother to many others besides myself.
No one else has the same history that I have with Bob, but each person has their own history with him that will remain as fond memories, even in his absence. I...

Our condolences to the Knapstein family - we have only known you a short time through the Moore family, but will remember Bob for his ready smile and great sense of humor. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Aw, Uncle Bob. I wish we'd had more time to spend together. Just getting together over the holidays was never enough. I guess we'll never get a chance to have that dinner for my graduation. I'll miss your goofy uncle laugh and goofy uncle jokes. Please say hello to Papa for me if it works that way.
Love, Deana

Dear LaVonne, Beth, Bill, Ron:

We are going to miss Bob very much.
We will miss our over the fence discussions on the Bears, the Cubs, even the Sox, politics, family and friends. And never once being controversial on any of these subjects.
We are going to miss his asking to borrow our propane gas tank, because his was empty and he needed to start the grill for dinner.
We are going to miss seeing him "sometimes" sipping on a can of beer in the yard.
We are going...

Dear LaVonne, Beth, Bill, Ron, family and dearest friends,
We are so sorry for your loss. Cherish your fondest memories, the laughter, and the joy. When we think of Bob, he's always smiling. We are grateful for the opportunity to have known him.
Keeping you all in our prayers,

Jeanne and Richard Salzmann

Dear Knapstein Family,
It seems that over the last ten years I would turn a corner somewhere and there'd be Bob. It was such a pleasant surprise to run into him and we'd talk about Rotary or Palatine for a few minutes and then we would move on; always picking up our next conversation where the last one left off. I will keep that memory of Bob close and hope that over the next few difficult days you are able to do the same with your treasured memories.

LaVonne and Family....

On behalf of the entire Palatine Men's Civic Club, I offer our heartfelt condolences on your great loss.

Bob will be missed. He always offered a smile and witty comment. When I joined the club, he was the guy who always made me feel at home, even when I really didn't know too many members. I am thankful to have known him.

May God, and your fond memories help to get you through your grief.

Matt Gorecki, President
