From the moment I heard EL(yes in 1967), I loved it and it has always been my #1 song ever since. I requested it to be played at my son& daughter in laws' wedding in 2017. Still sad at Roberts' passing. I wished I would have heard him sing it. RIP dear Robert Knight, EL for you.

My friends & i always tried to book Robert Knight & his group for our club parties in college if we could. He & his singing were wonderful and for those of us taking chemistry class he was the chem laboratory assistant! We always went to him to check out chemicals for
experiments. Then, we might get to see his group that weekend! Wed stay late sometimes & he talked to us about life outside college, racism issues as a chemistry graduate student, social activism he was an inspiration & a...
