Not sure what to say?

Joan,
I just learned that Bob had passed away. I am so, so sorry for your loss.
Carolyn

Dear Joan,

I only had the pleasure of meeting Bob a couple of times during my brief time thus far with the Leukemia Cup Regatta. He was always very nice to talk to and from all accounts was very passionate about sailing and fundraising for LLS. I was glad to meet you and speak with both of you in Annapolis this past June. My condolences to you and the rest of your family.

Joan,
We're sorry for your loss. The Knowles family have been friends since childhood summers in Ocean City. Bob and Eileen are still vivid in our hearts, young Bob will be as well.

Joan,
We were very happy for you when Bob came into your life and feel fortunate we had a chance to meet him a number of times. We add our thoughts and prayers for you.

To my old friend, Bobby Knowles: We'll always remember, "One Hot Turkey Surprise-A-Comin'-Up!" What fun we had! Always remember you, friend.

Dear Joan,
We are so saddened and sorry for your loss. Bob was truly a kind and generous man. We can't imagine what you're going through, but please know you are in our prayers. Fin's will never be the same.

Joan and Family,
We will truly miss our comrade and former co-worker, Bob. He was congenial and compassionate. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Joan,
I am so sorry to hear about Bob. He was a wonderful man and I am so happy I had an oppertunity to spend time with you both in Annapolis and Baltimore. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Bob will be remembered as the man who said he was growing older but not up. (smile) He was kind, generous and lit up when he discussed sailing. His calm presence will be missed.
