Not sure what to say?

At 75 years old, it sounds silly to say like this. But I had Mr. Kollar for Geograpy class. My sister Helen and I spoke of how we enjoyed his class. He made learning fun. So sorry for your loss. By the way I was in your English class. So please forgive for poor grammar. In sympathy, Johnny Pleasants

Oh, Lavina, I think you know how much Bob was loved and revered by this community. He leaves his imprint on everyone he met - always had something nice to say, always a positive work and, yes, he also wanted to give his opinion which was usually always spot on. I enjoyed the times I got to chat with him and I admired his passion for doing the right thing - always. Just know that we will not forget Bob and the way he touched so many of us with his wisdom and kind words.

Tranquil Moments Peace Lily

I had Mr. Kollar as my homeroom teacher. Would have liked him as one of my teachers. He was a very kind and good person. Was happy when we and Ms. Kollar got married. My thoughts and prayers are with the family over the upcoming days. May God bring you strength and comfort you during this time.

Bob's big heart and his unwavering dedication to his family, his church and his city are irreplaceable. His determination to "engage" and his urge toward generosity and kindness set an example we will all do well to remember. We wish warm, enduring memories and every comfort for Levina, Jonathan and Joseph. With Love,

He was one of my favorite teachers at Southeast along with his wife. Such special prople and teachers. We knew they cared about us as people and students they were trying to instill knowledge into. I remember how excited we were when we found out they were dating and then getting married! My condolances to her and the family. May God bless you all and give you strength in these days.Thank you both for all you did and were. Cindy Morton Mauldin '69

Mr. Kollar and his wife Levina were two of the best teachers I had while attending Southeast High School. His dedication to his students and to the community were exemplary. He will be missed.
