SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, MAY GOD BE WITH YOU AT THIS TIME. KNOW THAT HE IS AT REST AND NO MORE PAIN AND SUFFERING. THIS IS FROM ALICE (COCHRAN) RYALS, WE LIVED UP THE STREET FROM YOU ON ORIOLE AND YOU WENT TOSCHOOL WITH MY SISTERS BARB AND REE AND JOANN COCHRAN.

I first met "Koz" when I was attending St. Louis University. A life-long fire buff, I visited the 17's often and usually on the shift Bob was on. What a crew of great guys! I always enjoyed his company and stories at the firehouse. I was honored to be in attendance at the 17's when he retired. My sympathy to the family. Rest in peace, Bob.

My name is Ron DeLaney.Bob and I joined the Marine Corps together Feb 21 1956.We went through boot camp and combat training together. From there we went to Camp Pendelton,Callifornia.Bob was a good Marine and a very good friend.Bob help me get my first car in California.Bob please put a good word in for me up there.

Bob was a great and caring man. When you 1st met him you might be afraid. Big man, deep voice, almost gruff. But to know him was different. He was nice, fun ,knowledgeable and hard working as any man I have met. Bob will be missed in the Numismatic circles and as a top notch all around guy. I always called him my dad.

Bob Koster was my brother-in-law but he was always like a big brother to me. Growing up, I used to love when Bob, Barb and the kids came over. He would always play and joke with me and always had a way of making me feel special. You just knew he really cared about you. I'm going to miss him very much but feel so grateful to have had him in my life. I know he's in a place of peace with God.
