Kozy, Your love and kindness to my family when we first moved to Connecticut will always be remembered. I often remember family dinners at Flanders Pizza as a kid and you would always walk my brothers and I over next door to the convenience store to buy us ice cream if we ate all our dinner. As I got older you were even more generous by giving me my first job which taught me so much. For my family you were always more like a beloved uncle than simply a family friend, and your thoughtfulness...

Rest in peace "pop pop" I will always remember you "oafing around" the house, the Sunday morning McDonald's you always brought, the kindness and respect you've always had. The casino tickets you always had gotten. I'm glad you were able to enjoy my daughter as long as you did. My grandparents never got the opportunity. Every morning you would go play with my daughter before work and I'm grateful for being there for her as much as you could.

I first met Bob at Bulkeley and we have been lifelong friends ever since. We all appreciated his efforts at arranging our reunions to bring us all together every year . He really went the extra mile for his friends and always with his kind, and professional manner. He was my mother's accountant for many years and used to jokingly ask me if she had been to jail yet because of his accounting. He had an infectious sense of humor and an amazing work ethic. He was a war veteran and true...

Dear Kozek Family, I knew Bob from the time that my uncle "Jeepie" Mountzoures married my aunt Dolores Grassi in 1957 and probably before that. I spent hours hanging out with my aunt and uncle and of course, Bob and the family, too. Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of Bob; our lives were changed for the better by all being friends those many years. Fondly, Adria Penny Vail (Osborne) Dolores's and Phil's niece and Adriana and George Vail's daughter / granddaughter of Giuseppe...

Very sad to learn about Bob. He was a great friend to my mother´s family (Hume). To this day I remember Bob coming to our home in East Lyme to do the taxes. This started in the early 60´s. It became an annual event. I was only a child looking on as Bob had receipts, reports and tax forms spread across the kitchen table. My mom fussed over Bob making food and bringing coffee and other beverages. It became a social event. Bob became part of the family every spring for an hour or two. It...
