Dear Sandy and family,
I have been informed only today of your loss.
I have no words to decribe my feelings: Bob was the best person I ever met and the one who changed my life.
I will never forget him and he will stay for ever in my thoughts and in my prays.

My condolences to the family. I remember sitting next to Mr. Krakoff at an awards luncheon when he was president of Advanstar. I was a mere magazine editor and he was the head of the company, but he talked with me throughout the event without pretense and surprised me with his specific knowledge of my magazine and industry. That left a big impression on me. His leadership and expertise will be sorely missed.

Dearest Sandy and Family,
I was dreadfully sorry to hear the shocking news of Bob's death. His absence in the world will leave a huge gap. I feel I have lost a tremendously courageous, loyal and charming friend who was inspiring in both his standards and determination. His place in my heart and that of many others is assured. May you find comfort in each other and the legacy of love he leaves.
