Not sure what to say?

Sincere condolences to Bob's family and friends.
Like Steve Kowalski (see previous entry to Guest Book) I was another young person who looked up to Bob in the radio and theater world "way back when." Of course he was wonderfully talented. But, more important, he was a kind and considerate person. What a loss.
May his loved ones find comfort in the knowledge that Bob was held in such high regard by so many people.

Bob, I will be with you in spirit as you are honored and memorialized. Your words to me as we sat holding hands at your bedside..."you're something else"will fill my heart for many years to come. It is you who are "something else"...your talent, your kindness, your honesty, and, most of all, your bravery in the face of pain and suffering. My love goes out to you and to your lovely Janice. May your whole family find comfort in having been a part of your life.

My condolences to the family on the passing of a beloved Entertainer, Father and Husband. If you ever had the pleasure of working with Bob, you know what a loss this is to the entertainment field and to humanity. He was one-of-a-kind, and a great guy!

Thank you for the memories. The weekend with Bernie and Norma at Daytona beach was unforgettable as were all the shows we were in at Munopco and the wonderful characters you created in many shows. Thanks ever so.

To the family and friends of Bob Kratz - My deepest sympathies. I knew Bob from the 60's - those good old days of Munopco. What a talent he was. Anyone who knew him will always remember the magnificence of his voice in Man of LaMancia and many many productions thereafter. My son had the pleasure of meeting him when he did a short stint with WEST. I'm sure Bob has already started a new production behind those pearly gates. Best wishes to all.

In my home office hang two beautifully preserved plaques of Pennsylvania Playhouse playbills. One is for "Kind Lady" in which Bob is listed as my director, and the other "Any Wednesday" in which he played my husband, John Cleves. Both roles were executed with his usual panache! I will always cherish these memories as well as his many other talented contributions to the theatre world. He made his final exit much too soon.

With deepest sympathy,
Mary Sittler

I was one of Bob's friendly competitors back in the radio days. My fondest thoughts are with Janice now, and all of the family. Blessings on you all.

Janice, Jann, Robert, William and Ginny,

We share your grief and loss with Bob’s passing. Bob was loved and respected by many. Bob was always able to see the positive side of life, even in his years of declining health. I first met Bob in 1962 in the days after the fire at WSAN. We shared many laughs over the years right up to his final days on the air at WEST. It was always the start of a wonderful day sharing the morning hours with Bob, be it listening on the radio or in person...

Please accept my condolensces in the passing of Bob. I remember Bob from a number of years ago when we were both members of the Lehigh Valley Amateur Radio Club when we held our meetings at the Queen City airport. He was a very friendly and outgoing person and everyone enjoyed talking with him as he was a very talented individual in many ways.

May God's richest blessings be upon you as a family as you go through this difficult time of bereavement.
