In one comment section I mentioned that I had Barberton chicken, he said, take me next tim, I regret I never did.

Please know, Robert was a special man beyond any expectation. RIP old friend.

To the Family of Robert Mary Kraus:
In September 2009, I was reading an Akron Beacon Journal article concerning the closing of St. Hedwig's parish on North Hill. In the article's on-line section was a comment from Robert M Kraus. Knowing there were Krause's in my family background, I asked my father about the Kraus family as it related to the Friess family. I found that Bob was in fact my father's first cousin. Soon after, we met for lunch. These lunches continued throughout the ensuring...

Dear Kraus Family Members,

I remember each and every one of you so very well even though we have lost touch as adults. I am sorry I was not able to be at the funeral last week. The Kraus Family was an integral part of the Hart Family. We spent a lot of childhood time together as our families jointly went on vacation to various Ohio State Parks to live in cabins, ride horses and play cards...oh how your dad always won. What a card shark he was indeed. We celebrated may times at each...

Dear Kraus Family: I was alerted today by Saint Charles Prep that my friend Robert Kraus had died. I am saddened by this news and wish to extend my sympathies.

I found Mr Kraus to be a fabulous pen pal and will miss his wit, inquisitiveness, tremendous recall for events and people whom he encountered 75-80 years ago at 2010 East Broad Street, and his zest for life. He was a Carolian through and through and never lost his love for our alma mater. The school has developed a museum...

Mr Kraus was a special man and a dear friend of my Dad, Ralph Maher. Theresa and the entire family is in my thought and prayers.

Our prayers are with you and your family. He was a sweet man and always said hi to us when he was over at your house. He lived a great long life and is in heaven with his lovely wife.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

To the Kraus Family,
Robert was a good architect to work with
at Saint Ambrose Parish, Brunswick, Ohio.
As an Associate Pastor at St. Ambrose I came to know him as an intelligent and humble architect.
I was privileged to know him.
