Not sure what to say?

I knew David and Joyce in that crazy summer of 1975. I recall hugging David and Joyce goodbye and standing on Rt.6 in Volunteer Bay watching their old van drive away, back to California...

They were making earrings at the time, and I was told by neighbors they had sent me a package a month or so later-I was in the hospital and never received it and it was returned. Subsequently, we lost contact, until now.

David was a fine, fine man. He was gentle, patient, kind,...

Diane and Deb I am thinking about the two of you and I send my love and sympathy and prayers. Although I had not seen David in years my heart is touched by his memory. I remember him in high school when some of my classmates had a huge crush on him and they wanted me to introduce them to him since they knew he was my cousin. He had a gentle spirit back then and he will never be forgotton. Love you two.

I knew David and Joyce in the mid '70's in Vermilion and will never forget their influence on me. No one loved life and music more than David. He was a kind person and by all means, a free spirit.

It is hard and deeply saddening to accept the passing of a human being that shared a part of my youth.
To the family and friends of David, I extend my sympathy to you.
I knew David as a friend in my early adolescent years on through the years at Lorain High. Though the experiences I shared with him were brief, he lives in my treasured youthful memories.

Dear Family,
I am thankful for having known David from childhood. After not seeing him for 30years he came back to town long enough for his old friends to be able to spend time with him. He gave as much of himself as he could. You are now free my friend.
