Robert James "Bob" Kurkowski

We send our deepest sympathy to Bob's family. We have such good memories from years ago of your family harmonica band
and those late night meals! Your parents (grandparents) were
warm and gracious hosts. Good times!

I worked with Bob for many years. He was a real bright spot in the office, and was good to me when I was just starting. He had interesting stories about Korea, the Ice Follies, and the harmonica band, but he'd only tell the stories if you asked. Later he enjoyed building gliders. He even built one with a complicated "spoiler" system. An interesting person, and a good person. I was glad I knew Bob.

We never got to know him like we should have but he always waved and had a big smile as he drove by.

Uncle Bob was a true family man with a Great sense of humor. He was an excellent mentor to not only his kids but to us, his extended family. All of us were blessed to have him as such a positive mentor in our lives. He was a positive factor and it reflects in his kids through their work ethic, close family ties and sense of humor. He always made us laugh, which is the best thing. I'm sure he making Bea laugh right now!!
