My condolences to Bob's family. Bob LaPlante was an inspiration from the first time we meet while visited his gallery in 1981 which was on Central next to the Lobo Theater. He was not only a picture framer but a frame maker, doing all of his carving and finishes by hand. I visited his gallery and was always inspired by his energy,his knowledge of local art and his creative abilities in photography and picture framing. Bob was articulate and a pleasure to talk with.
