Mrs. LaCount, Vicki and Rob, I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was the best professor I ever had and a wonderful man. I feel very privileged to have had him as a mentor. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dr. LaCount was my chemistry professor in college. We all loved Dr. LaCount. He was smart, funny and a great mentor. He was my inspiration to pursue a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. I last saw Dr. LaCount nearly 40 years ago. That is special, as I suppose my memories of him are sort of a time capsule to be opened today. He was a phenomenal professor and human being. His patience and his devotion to teaching meant the world. Rest in peace and rise in glory, sir.

Virginia, Vickie, Rob and family, please accept my condolences in the passing of Bob. What an interesting and accomplished life he lived. You are in my prayers.
