Read MoreI just got the alumni newsletter from Garland High School and I am deeply saddened to hear of Bobby's passing and wish to express my condolences to his family. I was a member of the band (The Galaxies) that Bobby was in back in Garland. We shared many interesting experiences in the years we played together. Bobby was not only a great band member but also a great friend. I will cherish those times together forever.

I was heartbroken to get this sad news. I met Bob in the late 90s on a Wednesday night in a room of like minded people trying to live life one day at a time. His experience, strength and wisdom helped countless numbers of people over the years, including me; and for that I will always be eternally grateful to my friend Bob. To his family, my sincerest condolences. This is one of those losses that cuts deep for those who knew him.

My sincere condolences. Bob was a friend of mine who was a spiritual mentor in my eyes. While I did not know him well I would like to say these kind words to his family. That he was honest, dependable, with a strong faith in God. He gave me a reason to believe in God´s power as well. I´m sorry he has passed.
