Robert LAMB

Bob was a wonderful and devoted friend to my Dad, Russ Dean. They worked together at 3M for many years and eventually both retired from 3M. Bob and Jean and my parents Russ and Lorrie enjoyed spending time together and keeping up to date with each of our families. I didn’t get the pleasure of being with him for long. But the short time I had with Bob was so precious to me. He was the sweetest man. And he had the best kids that loved him dearly. Bob is dearly missed. I’m praying for his family daily

I met Bob, Jean and the rest of his family through my employment at Loechinger Chiropractic. Bob was a sweet and kind gentleman and we spoke often about my children and when they were involved in sports. And admired Bob for all his swimming he did and medals he had won in the Seniors. Bob and I shared an office at 3M in 1942 There were four of us - he was the most senior so his desk was closest to the window. In those days, he kept a meticulous account all his expenses - newspapers, candybars - in a little notebook (we were all broke). I left Mn to go to Texas about the same time as he went to Washington. I ended up in WI as he ended up in Ohio. In all those years we have kept in touch - by mail, by visits, and by phone calls. We had not yet really mastered the art...

Bob Lamb was a wonderful person, and I'm quite thankful to have known him and had him touch my life. I will miss him greatly.
