Robert "Big Bob" LAMBETH Jr.

I heard about Bob's passing at lodge earlier this month. I'm terribly sorry for your family's loss. I first met Bob as a part time employee at USBOM. I was a new veteran and went back to school in the late 80's. Being a vet I was able to work there. Bob was one of the most positive people I worked with. Years later we met again in Lodge. He is the epitome of a "good Mason"! My prayers will include your family at this time. Steve Schmedding

So sorry to hear this. I have many fond memories working with Bob at USBM. Probably our worst (and best) field work was snowshoeing through the Cascades during a blizzard to collect water samples near an abandoned mine by Stehekin WA. He always had so much energy!! Sad to see another Digger gone. Our thought are with you Kathy & family.

Was a co-worker with Bob for many years at the Bureau of Mines. He was a hard worker and a good man. RIP
