Not sure what to say?

I remember Mr Large for a couple things. My daughter had him as her 4th grade teacher and he always assigned a big project for the students to prepare. It was a big deal and I think the kids learned a lot of things.
He also would take his class on a field trip to downtown Syracuse. I helped out as a chaperone. The class all walked up to Camillus Plaza and took the Centro bus to Downtown Syracuse. We visited several sites in downtown like the Court House and Civic Center. We had lunch...

Bob was an excellent role model. I had the privilege of being his Student Teacher in 1971. My deepest sympathy and condolences to his family and friends.. May he Rest In Peace.

Sorry to the family. Thoughts and prayers for family. Bobs cousin Pat Large Neer

My deepest condolences to Mrs Large and the family. Bob was my scoutmaster at the Lafayette Avenue Methodist Church and also my camp leader at Sabattis where I was a scout, counselor in training and counselor. Bob and Bev were both very kind to me and I have nothing but fond memories of my time as a scout and counselor.I will always remember Bob as a man with a big heart and the spirit of a boy.
I live far from Central New York now so I won't be able to make the service but I will be...

I was waterfront director when Bob was Camp Director at Three Islands, Sabattis. He was a calm and professional leader for staff and campers. He was nicknamed "Mother Large" for his elementary teacher manners and speaking style, but it was a respectful title. We even named a big rubber raft after him - the Good Ship Mother- and hundreds of scouts played in and around that craft. I was pleased to read that he lived a long and productive life. Good Scout is a proud title, and he was a Good Scout.

My Mom Jane Nogash admired Bob very much, she talked about Bob and Bev and how they did for the church. I'm sure the Bellevue Congregation has missed them terribly. Sincerest condolences to the Large family.

Prayers go out to Beverly and family. Memories of scouts, family camping and Lafayette Ave. Church.

Bob touched many lives, and will be long remembered, with appreciation. Rev. David Oertel, Palm Coast, FL.

TOM, Sharon, Sorry to read about your brothers passing, Hope you have many fond memories to help ease the pain in your heart, Sincerely, Nancy & Ron Bush
