I never had the chance to meet Bob or his family, but I would like to thank all of you for some great memories at Funspot, which wouldn't have happened thanks to Bob and his vision. My father was stricken with multiple sclerosis in his 20s and suffered a difficult decline in motor function until he passed away in his mid-40s. Needless to say, he and I couldn't do many of the "regular father-son things" due to his illness. However, in my younger years visiting Funspot, my Dad and I were...

My husband and I had the great pleasure of meeting Bob while we were at Fun Spot with our grandchildren. We were outside at the picnic tables when he came over to us and struck up a conversation. Quite a while later, he handed our grandkids a (large) handful of tokens for the games. Bob was quite a special man and we will never forget the great political conversation we had with him that day. I enjoyed serving with Bob in the NH House of Representatives and remember that ever-present twinkle in his eye. Prayers and best wishes to David and the other family members.

Was such a joy to see him and talk with him at Funspot over the years bringing my children and grandchildren there. Praying for your families at this time.

I served with Bob in the legislature in the 70s, and met up with several of his children. Also a good friend of John Lawton in Dover.in visits with Bob in later years he vowed he planned to die on the job at Funspot. I guess he didn´t do that, but he has had a remarkable life, contributed greatly, accomplished far more than most. R.I.P. Bob.....
