NORTH ATTLEBORO - Robert J. LeBlanc, Sr., 58, of Barbara Road died Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Jacqueline (Jensen) LeBlanc for over 20 years.
Born January 17, 1955 in Cambridge, he was a son of the late Edward and Joan (Cormier) LeBlanc.
Bob grew up in Somerville and has been a resident of North Attleboro for the past 20 years.
He worked for North American/Rainbow movers for many years and then worked the night shift at Stop & Shop in North Attleboro for six years.
Bob loved cooking and yard work. He also enjoyed trips to Castle Island in South Boston and spending time with family and friends including his best friend, his beloved dog Mickey.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Alycia LeBlanc of North Attleboro, Eric Jensen of North Attleboro, Robert LeBlanc, Jr. and Dawn O'Brien; two brothers: Stephen LeBlanc and Brian LeBlanc of Roslindale and his godmother Mary Lou and her husband Johnny of Medford.
He was brother of the late Edward, David and Jay LeBlanc.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 28 from 4-7 p.m. in Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A service will be held at the conclusion of visiting hours in the funeral home at 7 p.m.
