To Bob's family, am so sorry to hear that Bob passed. Bob and I were friends from grade school, through High School. Rose and Oscar were wonderful to me, in fact I lived with them the last half of my senior year in high school as my parents moved. I first heard of Robert E. when I worked at Black Ball Transport on the Iroquois in the late 1960's. He was a legend back then. I followed him to Alaska in 1977 and soon found out those stories were underrated. However, first and foremost, he loved his family. How likeable was he?
