My very first medical job was a 6 month locum in Terrace (1965) working with Ted. What a wonderful start to a medical career! Ted was without doubt the most versatile doctor I ever worked with and he taught me so much in his quiet thoughtful way. Apart from being a most skilful general surgeon he could turn his hand to any other branch of medicine, including radiology. My wife Berenice was a radiographer in Terrace with me & always maintained that Ted could interpret X-rays as well as any...

I have wonderful memories of Dr Lee. From concert to great reception, Dr REM Lee T
Theatres to the Terrace school band programme. He had the foresite to realize if we didn,t get moving that year we would not have the population the next year.
His devotion to his patients was legendary and I, too, was on the receiving end of his skil and caring. He will not soon be forgotten.
I also remember the St Bernard who made his rounds each morning digging up newly planted bulbs...
