Not sure what to say?

The Colonel was a good man whose life touched the lives of everyone he met. His was a presence that will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Our prayers and condolences are with you and all of your family in your time of sorrow.

To Karen & Family: I am sorry that I didn't find out about your father's death until after the funeral. I would have liked to attend to honor an American hero and to express my condolences.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. I hope to see you next time you are home.

Words can't express what it has meant to us to have had Bob in our lives.
No one could ask for a better neighbor, but Bob and Mary have become far more to us than neighbors, much more like a favorite aunt & uncle.
Bob truly lived the "Love thy neighbor as thyself" credo, and there's no doubt that he was on the express elevator to, as he called Him, "the Great Guy in the sky."
"Souse Avalon Bored of Trade"-we love you and will miss you.

Jim & Cheryl

To the Leiendecker Family,

My sympathy for your loss. The colonel was a fine gentleman and a great officer who served his country and the Army with distinction.

To a wonderful man who will be sadly missed, but remembered in all the great times we spent together. From the family reunions where all would meet, to the holiday parties, card games, and get-togethers at "the old homestead" at 239. A loving Grandfather to my children, and a man who always treated me like the son he never had. We are honored to know you. Thank you for your friendship and the cherished memories you leave behind...

Love,

Ralph, Emily, and Eric Mazza

To Grace and your family:
Our heartfelt condolences to you & yours. How lucky you all were to have him in your life. We will never forget what he did for us 20 years ago before the days of camcorders. While attending our wedding, Bob brought his taperecorder and talked to each & every guest and asked them to say a few words to the new bride & groom. When we came back from our honeymoon, we were absolutely surprised to receive this fabulous gift from him. Just a fabulous man....

Sally and family,

So sorry to hear about your Dad. I can remember him as helping at many events in the North Boros as we were growing up together. Hope you and your family are doing okay.

Bob always had a smile for us and wonderful stories to tell. We will miss our friend.
