Not sure what to say?

Take care.

Im so sorry . Ive considered Bob a good friend since the early 70s when he bought a cottage on Chebeague.

Ellen, I'm thinking of you and remembering Bob's warmth and humor fondly. He was generous with his time and wisdom and a mentor in the newsroom.

I loved his smile, his personality, his jokes, everything Bob was was amazing. I will never forgot him walking into to the store come spring time, or taking me out for seafood in Boston, or teaching me the game of golf! To his loving family, I am sorry for your loss, I will miss him dearly.

loved his smile and the twinkle in his eyes.He was so kind to my son Tom when he was a a kid! Bob had a pond stocked wiling fish and Tom would spend hours catching and releasing. Then one day Bob said , You know Tom if one of those fish look a little tired you could take it home and plop it in a frying pan! He was part of our community for decades and will be missed by so many!

Oh, my. I'm so sorry, Ellen. I always enjoyed Bob's smile and warmth. He will be sadly missed on the island. xoxox May Hall

A wonderful, uncensored guy who not only brought a smile to my face whenever I saw him, but often as big a laugh as I'm capable of.
Ellen, I'm thinking of you.

Dear Ellen, you do no know me, but I have enjoyed your writing for many years. I hope Bob rests in peace and you are able to live your life happily.
