ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI Obituary

ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI, 80, of rural Roanoke, passed away on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at Harbour Assisted Living. Born Sept. 15, 1933, in Chicago, Ill., he was a son of the late Peter and Cecilla Lewandowski. He retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools in 1993. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and a former member of Zanesville Lions Club. He was also active, in years past, in 4-H. Surviving are his children, David (Marcia) Lewandowski of Fort Wayne and Michelle (Donald E. Sr.) Helmick of Martinsville, Ind.; and three grandsons. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Jo Lewandowski. Mass of Christian Burial is 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Road, Yoder (IN 46798), with visitation one hour prior. Burial in the church cemetery.
