Dr Beamer had a profound influence on my life starting as a student at the USC College of Pharmacy. He made studying Medicinal organic chemistry and biochemistry come alive for me. His strong influence encouraged me to pursue a career in medicine following graduation from the College of Pharmacy. We students used to joke that Dr Beamer would hold the chalk with his right hand and eraser with his left hand so you had to write fast! Thank you Dr Beamer for all you did for me.
