Not sure what to say?

Fr Bob became a priest relatively late in life. One day I asked him about it. He was in sales as a young man but felt a void in his life-a void that started to be filled one day as he watched Bishop Sheen on TV; I was but a lad of 9 or 10 in those days and while I recalled the shows I quickly turned the channel to Rocky and Bullwinkle. But since I´ve watched a couple of his shows and now understand Fr Bobs inspiration. So here´s to you, Fr Bob-next drink is on me!

Not only was Fr. Bob my dear Godfather, he was a blessing to our entire family. He was my father's college and lifelong buddy, our "family priest" who officiated at all of our weddings, baptisms, and funerals, and most importantly, Fr. Fr Bob,
Always enjoyed our conversations and time together.
Heaven simply could not wait any longer for your Kindness. Your sincerity started with the smile but ran deep to your soul. Many have been blessed with your friendship and generosity. RIP
I believe Heaven should have plenty of Ice Cream for you! :)

In the 1980's I knew Fr. Bob Lexa, especially from his work in the field of marriage preparation. In 1993, the Diocese assigned Fr. Bob to St. Gabriel Parish. We worked together until his retirement in 1996.

Over the last years we have shared a few meals to keep in touch with each other. Bob was an easy person to be with. Very positive in his dealings with people and very aware of the challenges of the gospel for our own living.

Bob, thank you for your...

May Jesus hold you in the palm of his Hands
Come follow me I have a place for you in the kingdom
Of Heaven RIP. Father Bob

Fr Bob meant so much to our family, both personal and that of Holy Name parish. Jim, Zada, and Fr Bob are enjoying their happy hour drinks in a very good place.
