How surprised I was to open the paper and see that the older brother of my grade school friend had passed away. I always thought of him as "cool" and he ended up being just that. The world today is full of cookie-cutter people and he was an original, a teacher and a mentor to his niece and nephews. My sympathy goes out to you and your family.
