Bob was a solid foundation at Holmdel Community Church - I saw firsthand how he could say so much by saying so little, yet his eyes and hint of a smile offered kindness, understanding and love. Bob has been my cherished friend for 66 years. He was a hero to all who knew him, always willing to help in any way. My late husband Cal and I were best friends with Bob and Lynn when we moved back to Holmdel for a few years in the 70's. Though we've seen each other a few times since, he has always kept in touch. Calling to see if I was okay. I will miss him terribly. I always considered his wonderful family to be my own.
