Not sure what to say?

I just saw this, and had to write my sweet memory. About 6 years ago, I met Mr. Bob fishing on his rock at the creek. He met me and my little grandson, Tyler, and we became friends. Whenever we walked or fished at lake or creek, we would stop by and talk to him on his porch, or in his garden. My granddaughter McKinlee would also visit him with me. We met his dear parrot, talked fish, and always enjoyed his conversations. We fished together many times...such a dear man. Tyler loves to fish...

It was my good fortune to be Bob’s next door for the past 2 years. I certainly wish it could have been longer. Bob was a Renaissance man of sorts. He knew so much about the natural world, gardening, music, and local history. I enjoyed talking to Bob. He always made me laugh. I will miss him. My sincerest condolences are with the family. Rest In Peace, Bob.

Bob was a wonderful friend for many years. He was my athletic bus driver in mid and late sixty's. He made me laugh especially about my hunting and fishing stories in which he said i was stretching it a little. When i drive down front street in Boiling Springs i will always glance at where you once lived with a kind smile. Thank you Bob for all the fond memories . Rest peacefully until we once meet again !!!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Group of 10 Memorial Trees

He will be a memory of great character and we will always think of him when we have a saltine cracker. A man of many talents and hobbies, he was always busy and had an unending love for his family. I can't think of a better way to celebrate him by planting trees. He loved the mountains and we are doing this in his honor. We will miss you Bob, but we know you are in the arms of Jean again. Affectionately, The Maurer Family

To the Line Family,
I didn't know your Father, but in knowing Greg and Doug, he had to be a pretty good guy. You seemed to follow him in that way. It has been awhile since I have seen either of you, but know I am thinking of and praying for your Family in this sad time. Keep the good memories and they will see you through.

Love,
Debi Heishman
