Not sure what to say?

Ciao Bello,
This Guest book site just popped up in my email a couple of weeks after Matty , from McSorleys, died. Roslyn Diner and McSorleys are forever linked to Bobby LIPP , me and laughs. A year ago I met with Matty and he asked again about you and then cement boat, a concept they didnt have in Ireland.
Thanks for the wonderful memories of fun that we always had together. RIP my dear friend, you are missed.

Where your voyage takes you, beyond life on Earth, I don't know, but a piece of my heart travels with you. Fondest memories and deepest sympathy to your family.

Bob was one of a kind and will be hard to replace on this green earth. We shared some good times and I am glad to have met with him one last time. RIP Bob!

I reported to CORPORAL after Bob transferred so I did not really get to know him like I would have wanted. I did meet him once later and it was clear he was a person I would have liked to serve with. My condolences to Bob's Family, Shipmates and Friends.

Sailor, rest your oar.

A dear friend and great shipmate He was a special breed of man , made every one around him feel good and part of the group. I have many fun stories and good memories of our time on the SS346 , God Bless and steady as you go.

Fair seas and a fine breeze forever, my friend.

Dear Left Coast Larry ,
Bob's room is empty and our hearts are heavy ..
You lived a life of great honor and courage . You were a man of warmth, quick with a smile and an unforgettable laugh. The "ultimate" story teller...
You lived and died with grace..
Always in our thoughts , forever in our hearts.. Rest in peace my brother.. Love ya ,

Celebrating a life well lived. He's allowed everyone to cherish great memories forever. RIP.

Uncle Sam's Navy put Bob and I together as shipmates in the earliest days of the 60's. We made the best of that meeting and became friends for life. Some of the things we did together probably aren't fit for your kids to read about, so suffice it to say that we had our moments. Never anything malicious, just mischievous in the ways young sailors can be. Lots of laughs with Bob, but always a good man to have your back when things went wrong, as they often did in those days.
Quick funny...
