Robert J. Liquori Ironworker, of Union, 44 Robert J. Liquori, 44, of Union, N.J., passed away on Dec. 5, 2014. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 North Broad St., Hillside, N.J., growneyfuneral.com. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at Christ the King Church, Hillside. Interment is at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, N.J. Born in Livingston, N.J., Robert lived in Hillside before moving to Union 18 years ago. He was an ironworker for Local 11 District Council Ironworkers in Bloomfield, N.J. He was a member of the Hillside Knights of Columbus Thomas F. Canty Council 3197 and the Union Elks Club. Robert was the loving husband of Dale (nee Medvetz); devoted father of Alyssa and Lexi; dear son of Joseph and the late Mary (Batto) Liquori and brother of Joseph, Michael and Daniel. In lieu of flowers, donations to Rob's children's college fund (checks payable to Dale Liquori) would be appreciated.

So sad to hear this ! Although it's been many years since I last worked with Rob I will always remember him as a good friend and a Great Union Ironworker !!! Rest easy Brother...
