Not sure what to say?

Dear Dave,

I was profoundly saddened to learn of your father's passing. I know what a difficult time the adjustment after the loss can be. But, as you grieve, know that I am grieving with you and your family. Although I didn't personally meet your dad, I know that he was a kind and generous man.

I'm here if you need me...

Love,
Elaine

Barb and kids, We want to send our most sincere sympathy to you all. I am sure the kids don't remember me much, but I sure do remember having drinks on the boat in the Inner Harbor with Linda. Fondly, "Betty" and Karl Frantz

Barbara,
I was so sorry to hear of Bob's death. I know you and he were very happy together and my heart just aches for your loss. I know how hard this will be for you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Love to you and your family.

Dave and I extend our deepest sympathy to the Lis family. Bob was a wonderful person who had a smile for everyone - a gentle, kind soul who will be very much missed but always remembered.

Robert was a generous and kind employer, and later a favorite client. I will miss him. My thoughts are with the Lis families.

Barb, very sorry to learn of Bob's passing. It has been several years since we last spoke but Bob was a very likeable person and a good man.

Joy and I want to say how sorry we are for your loss. He had a wonderful life and was a great person. Everyone will miss him dearly.
