Robert Andrew LODDER Sr.

I have many fond memories of Mr. Lodder from my years at the Pleasant Ridge Branch Library. He was a regular who read the newspapers and talked to the other men who came there for the same reason. He was one of 10 World War II veterans we interviewed for the Veterans History Project, under the auspices of the Main Library and the Library of Congress. He was my cousin by marriage and I use to babysit for the children. He always had such good stories and kept us laughing. I still think he looks like Jack Paar and I'm sure he'll meet his buddy, Ted High, up in heaven!

My mother Ann Gray/Spratt, now 86 years old, worked for Bob for many years at his studio in Pleasant Ridge. I remember him as a kind and funny gentleman. He photographed my wedding over 37 years go. May he Rest In Peace.
